James Knowles - AOP Finalist

Apologies, just getting around to catching up with the news over summer. Believe me it is a busy start to the year for lecturers with the start of the new intake.

Congratulations to James Knowles BA Professional Photography graduate selected as a finalist in the Association of Photographers Student Awards 2023.

James had four of his images from the series New Build: Altered Landscapes selected in the 'Places' category. His work was exhibited at Free Range Shows, Truman Brewery, London alone with fellow class mate Jolanta Pakla-Plebankiewicz. The work will also feature in the AOP Awards book due for publication this month.

"For my major project, I investigated the expansion of housing developments and how these have impacted the natural landscape around the edge of cities".

Many thanks to the judges, Julia Fullerton batten, Ian Potter and Krishna Sheth.
