Judging has taken place at our BJP offices on Tuesday 8 May. This year, the competition has been judged by key industry leaders Caroline Hunter, Picture Editor of The Guardian Weekend Magazine; Olivia Arthur, Magnum Photographer; Martin Usborne, Co-Founder of Hoxton Mini Press; and Simon Bainbridge, Editorial Director at British Journal of Photography.
Save the dates: 100 winning photographers will be announced on 29 August. Portrait of Britain exhibition will open on 1 September 2018 on JCDecaux screens nationwide.
On the 6th September, we will hold a Press Book launch party in London for shortlisted & winning photographers and guests.

Winning images will be seen by millions
Portrait of Britain winners will have their work exhibited on JCDecaux screens nationwide, on bus stops, high streets and in train stations, as part of the biggest exhibition of contemporary portraiture ever held.
