BIPP Scotland Awards - Result!

Edinburgh College Photography students again this year demonstrated their skill and hard work at the BIPP Scottish Regional Awards in the Fashion, Advertising, Photojournalism and Social and Portraiture categories.

A total of eleven awards were achieved from Gold, Silver, Bronze and Merit by the HND and BA Professional Photography students. The event took place at the Edinburgh Marriott Hotel on Sunday night. The awards were organised by the Scottish regional committee, Linda McPherson and Scott Hogg, judged by BIPP Fellows Bryn Griffiths and Kevin Wilson. The Judges remarked on the outstanding quality of the students work.

BA Alumni Pavel Tamm gave a presentation about his award winning images, his latest commissions and the experience of being part of the UK World Cup Photography Team. Pavel only graduated last year but already has a foothold in the industry and continues to make personal work and run a successful business.

Lecturers at Edinburgh College Photography were relieved and extremely pleased at the news as the awards get more competitive every year. The results confirm the outstanding work that the students achieve during their studies and the continuing success year on year from Edinburgh College Photography.
